day 15

The Name of Jesus

What is in a name?  Parents have the great privilege of naming their children.  When we became born again, our Father in Heaven gave us the name above all names- the name of Jesus!  We need to find out what is in that name!

 Prayer

Today, I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in Heaven is named.  Praise you God, that you have given believers the name of Jesus!

It is the name above all names and the only name whereby men must be saved.  You have instructed believers to pray in the name of Jesus and that if we ask anything you will do it as it lines up with your Word.  Demons, disease and afflictions must flee at the name of Jesus.  O Lord, your name is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father and Prince of Peace.  We all praise you for your glory and might!  I pray in that awesome name of Jesus, Amen.

Why do people use Jesus Christ as a ‘slang swear’ word?  Maybe because the devil knows how powerful the name of Jesus is and he wants us to ‘curse’ that name and not be able to use that power against him!  So, purpose to bless and honor Jesus and thank God for giving us the name of Jesus!
