Weekly Kindness Challenge
Take a hike from the grumpies this summer by offering to do something helpful or nice for your neighbor. This can be as simple as picking up some items at the store for them or putting in some physical labor by doing some yard work. The sky’s the limit!
It is a sin to despise one's neighbor, but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy. Proverbs 14:21 (NIV Version)
Physical Benefit of Kindness
You live longer! People who volunteer tend to experience fewer aches and pains. This includes doing acts of kindness for your neighbor. Giving help to others protects overall health twice as much as aspirin protects against heart disease. People 55 and older who volunteer for two or more organizations have an impressive 44% lower likelihood of dying early!
