day 2

The cleansing power of the blood of Jesus

Daily we should talk to God and confess any sins we have committed. Today, let’s focus on doing this as we continue on our journey to draw closer to God and making Christ our Center.

Dear God in Heaven, I examine my heart right now and I confess my sins.  (Speak to God about specific sins you are remembering right now) Lord, I truly am sorry for these actions and I purpose to turn away from this (or these) sin(s). I put these sins under the precious blood of Jesus.  Help me O Lord to have the strength to overcome these sins and not repeat them.  I thank you for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus that removes these sins from me as far as the east is from the west.  Holy Spirit, help me walk uprightly before you.  Thank you, Father, that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!  In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!

Meditate on the scripture reading today and let the cleansing Word of God lift you up to your seat with Christ Jesus in the Heavenlies!

Read These Scriptures

 Romans 10:10

Psalm 32:5

 Psalm 103:12

 II Corinthians 5:21

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Roman 10:10

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.”  And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.  Psalm 32:5

He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.  Psalm 103:12

16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.  John 14:16-17

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin,e so that we could be made right with God through Christ.  II Corinthians 5:21
